Senior Application Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

Become a key player in our Information Security team as a Senior Application Security Engineer, where you will leverage your expertise in application security, security engineering, and software development to support and enhance our inline code testing and reporting processes.

In Short

• Implement and maintain Application Security Testing (AST) tools to identify vulnerabilities.
• Implement and maintain Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) tools.
• Act as the first line of support for users regarding security tool findings.
• Integrate security tooling with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines.
• Develop detailed reports on security findings and remediation efforts.
• Communicate security risks and promote secure development practices.
• Triage security risks in diverse application development environments.
• Demonstrate high proficiency in application security technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years’ experience OR Master’s Degree and 6 years’ experience OR PhD and 2 years’ experience.
• 5+ years of experience in application security and software development.
• 3+ years of experience with application security tooling.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices across multiple programming languages.
• Experience integrating security testing into CICD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of application security principles and common vulnerabilities.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices in large organizations.
• Experience in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to stakeholders.
• Experience coaching and supporting junior engineers.
