Security Application Solution Architect - Remote

Overview

The Information Security Application Solution Architect is a member of the Information Security team and works closely with other members of the team to develop and implement a comprehensive information security program, focusing on secure design, coding, configuration, and deployment of technology solutions.

In Short

• Collaborate with application development teams to ensure secure technology solutions.
• Define security policies, processes, and standards.
• Evaluate application software and infrastructure designs.
• Generate detailed security controls design and documentation.
• Develop implementation guidance and design patterns.
• Research and implement new security technologies.
• Advise on security requirements for application development projects.
• Foster an information security culture within the organization.
• Support security aspects of business & IT initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience in information security.
• Strong understanding of application security principles and practices.
• Experience with secure session management and authentication mechanisms.
• Knowledge of cryptographic practices and encryption protocols.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization.
• Familiarity with tools for code analysis and vulnerability scanning.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Experience with SOX and HIPAA compliance.
• Information security qualification such as CISSP is preferred.
