Manager, Epidemiology - Remote

Overview

The person in this position will provide support to the Global Epidemiology Department in Pharmacovigilance & Patient Safety. This person will contribute to the design and execution of pharmacoepidemiologic studies, support characterization of descriptive epidemiology for diseases and indications, contribute to regulatory submissions and responses, and perform literature reviews on topics required for ongoing support and/or development of drugs and devices.

• Evaluate, synthesize, and communicate epidemiology literature.
• Lead or contribute to the development of new evidence through study design and protocol development.
• Work with general to advanced epidemiology research techniques.
• Support content development for risk management plans and regulatory deliverables.
• Communicate epidemiology concepts to diverse audiences.
• Requires a PhD/MD/PharmD, or MPH/MS with relevant experience.
• Excellent understanding of epidemiologic data sources and methods.
• Preference for individuals with industry experience.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in epidemiology or related discipline.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
