Overview

AbbVie is seeking a Lead for Global Procurement Systems to ensure the successful delivery of complex IT projects, manage activities and team members, and provide high-quality systems solutions to meet business needs.

In Short

• Manage complex IT projects and team activities.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate and Divisional Policies.
• Develop and monitor group goals and objectives.
• Utilize formal SDLC for system development activities.
• Provide project status reports and identify user needs.
• Consult with business units for process improvements.
• Track and manage defects and issues.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on system updates.
• Accountable for project delivery within scope and budget.
• Foster continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of experience; Master’s Degree with 5 years preferred.
• 5+ years of Business/System Analysis and software testing experience.
• Experience with Salesforce is required.
• Strong documentation and project management skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in professional consulting and program/project management preferred.
• PMI or PMP certification is a plus.
