As a Cloud Security Engineer at AbbVie, you will contribute to the digital transformation of a leading Biopharma company, shaping and guiding the organization's security strategy, architecture, and practices focused on cloud computing technology.

In Short

• Develop and execute cloud security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cloud technology teams to ensure the integrity and security of digital assets in AWS/Azure.
• Establish guardrails to prevent or remediate security misconfigurations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced cloud engineers.
• Review environments to identify opportunities to reduce risk.
• Build automation to monitor cloud resources for compliance.
• Consult with cloud engineers to implement design requirements.
• Ensure established controls remain effective.
• Participate in educational opportunities to advance your function.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to balance interests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years’ experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Experience with AWS Service and Resource Control Policies.
• Expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, and IAM.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications are desirable.
