Overview

The Associate Director, Regulatory Affairs US Advertising and Promotion is responsible for setting strategy and leading cross-functional, multidisciplinary, therapeutic teams, and executes multidivisional initiatives.

• Leads cross-functional therapeutic teams and multidivisional initiatives.
• Maintains and evaluates productivity metrics for business needs.
• Aligns communication with Medical, Marketing, Regulatory, Legal and Public Affairs.
• Assists in departmental budget management and projects future expenditures.
• Collects and analyzes issues/trends affecting business opportunities.
• Operates independently and manages departmental initiatives.
• Encourages innovation and mentors staff based on performance.
• Understands regulations related to advertising and promotions.
• Develops complex processes and strategic presentations for management.
• Identifies areas for improvement in processes and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in science (biology, chemistry, etc.)
• Relevant Master’s or Ph.D., or advanced scientific or law degree preferred.
• 8 years of industry-related experience preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical regulatory strategy preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience developing global regulatory strategies.
• Management experience preferred.
