As a Senior Data Engineer at Abbott, you will play a critical role in building big data collection and analytics capabilities to support healthcare solutions for diabetes management.

• Work remotely within the U.S. as part of the Data Engineering & Analytics team.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for complex data sets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Software/Data Engineering.
• Experience with Databricks and/or Spark.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Kafka, or Go.
• Knowledge of data processing strategies for structured and unstructured data.
• Familiarity with databases and data quality performance tuning.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred experience with AWS services like S3, RDS, Redshift.
• Agile methodology experience is a plus.
