Risk Adjustment Project Lead-HCC - Remote

Overview

This is a remote position for a highly motivated and dedicated auditing professional with a focus on Risk Adjustment coding and auditing for physician practices.

In Short

• Assist manager in monitoring project to ensure timely delivery of work.
• Review auditor and coder's work for accuracy of ICD-10-CM codes for Risk Adjustment.
• Train new staff and contractors on client specific Risk Adjustment guidelines, process and expectations.
• Research regulatory guidelines for supporting documentation.
• Prepare coding reports using Excel.
• Meet department production and quality standards.
• Prepare oral and/or written reports of work activity to Supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information.
• Attend weekly team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of coding and/or auditing experience.
• Extensive ICD-10-CM coding and auditing experience, particularly with Risk Adjustment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to own an entire project.
• Detail oriented and deadline driven attitude.
• Ability to think critically and determine the best method for completing tasks.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, EMR systems, and internet).
• Ability to multitask and keep a sense of urgency.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong time management, organization skills, and work ethic.
