In Short

• Code medical records to validate ICD-10-CM codes for Risk Adjustment
• Research regulatory guidelines for supporting documentation
• Meet customer and AAPC production and quality standards
• Prepare oral and/or written reports of work activity to Project Lead
• Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of coding and/or auditing Medicare Advantage and Medicaid risk adjustment experience
• Extensive ICD-10-CM coding, particularly with Risk Adjustment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented and deadline driven attitude
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, EMR systems, Risk Adjustment software)
