Senior Material Compliance Expert - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Material Compliance Expert, you will evaluate the material compliance of medical devices, ensuring adherence to various regulatory guidelines and documentation of EHS compliance.

In Short

• Evaluate raw materials and finished products for regulatory EHS compliance.
• Act as a liaison with external suppliers regarding compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to provide compliance input from development stages.
• Support regulatory affairs with necessary compliance information.
• Maintain documentation for Nordic eco-labeling.
• Generate Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Provide expert advice and summaries on material compliance.
• Engage in cross-functional team discussions on EHS compliance.
• Work independently and proactively towards problem-solving.
• Fluent in English and knowledgeable in German.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in chemistry, material science, biology, or related fields.
• Advanced knowledge of EHS regulations (REACH, MDR, RoHS, etc.).
• Experience in regulatory affairs or quality in the pharmaceutical/medical device field.
• Familiarity with Quality Management standards (ISO 13485, FDA regulations, etc.).
• Knowledge of medical device regulations (MDR, MDD, etc.).
• Strong communication skills with international colleagues.
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
• Ability to work independently and within teams.
