Overview

The Reliability Support Specialist at 6sense plays a crucial role in ensuring the stability and performance of our services and infrastructure, working closely with engineering teams to diagnose and resolve issues.

In Short

  • Own monitoring, logging, and alerting tools for the Software Engineering team.
  • Learn and adopt new technologies to solve challenges.
  • Support the Software Engineering team in monitoring and alerting on issues.
  • Respond to service issues and automate alerting processes.
  • Act as a first-responder to shared infrastructure issues.
  • Work with teams to implement automatic resolutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for platform monitoring.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a reliability or technical support role.
  • Proficient in ANSI SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with monitoring REST APIs and web services.
  • Experience with high-availability systems.
  • Familiarity with observability systems like Datadog and Grafana.
  • Experience monitoring relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
