Solutions Architect for Air Force Project - Remote

Overview

A Solutions Architect is needed to support an Air Force project aimed at enhancing integration and web-based capabilities for aircraft maintainers and support personnel, directly impacting the warfighter.

In Short

• Support architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of APIs and microservices.
• Deliver new integrations using modern cloud services and API management platforms.
• Conduct technical analysis, system design, and architecture tasks.
• Assist in CloudOps, development, and SRE delivery.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience with scalable cloud-based and API-first architectures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Agile projects and tools like Jira.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience architecting scalable cloud-based and/or API-first architectures.
• Experience with REST APIs and API design principles.
• Understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Ability to convert functional needs into technical solutions.
• Proficient in analyzing and documenting application and API functionalities.
• Experience with various front- and back-end frameworks.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
• Experience with Agile projects and tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly.
