Cloud Ops Lead (AWS) - Remote

Overview

The Cloud Ops Lead (AWS) will support an infrastructure team in multiple cloud systems, primarily focusing on AWS, while ensuring the maintenance and monitoring of AWS accounts in the Army environment.

In Short

• Lead CloudOps initiatives for the Army's infrastructure team.
• Work primarily with AWS cloud services.

• Must be a US Citizen with a DoD Secret clearance.
• 8+ years of experience in CloudOps/DevSecOps.
• Proficiency in AWS services like ECS, EC2, Lambda, and more.
• Experience with containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in CloudOps/DevSecOps.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS services.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Familiarity with Microsoft and Linux applications.
• Ability to obtain AWS Certified Professional and other certifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
