Overview

Rackspace is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cloud Engineer to oversee various aspects of network architecture, information security, IT system administration, and DevOps processes in a multicloud environment.

In Short

• Oversee and coordinate technical and management aspects of cloud infrastructure.
• Identify and address product bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams on various projects.
• Implement automation and DevOps best practices.
• Perform Linux/Windows administration and automated deployments.
• Serve as a technical advisor and troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Execute migrations and optimize applications for business objectives.
• Work in a greenfield project environment.
• Utilize cloud monitoring tools.
• Experience with cloud migrations from on-premises to cloud.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field required.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred.
• 7+ years of combined technical support experience.
• Expert level knowledge of AWS and Azure.
• Familiarity with GCP.
• Experience in a project environment as a supplier or consultant.
• Administration experience with Windows and Linux Servers.
• Experienced with DevOps, CI/CD deployments, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud monitoring tools such as ServiceNow.
