Senior WordPress Developer - Remote

Overview

Looking for several WordPress developers specializing in custom WordPress theme development. This role is responsible for coding, designing, and maintaining various websites. This person strives to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

In Short

• Create the website architecture using WordPress Dashboard, ACF, Gutenberg blocks.
• Design and build the website front-end using standard HTML/CSS practices.
• Create an immersive experience for the user using micro animations.
• Design and manage the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Integrate data from various front/back-end services and databases using REST-API.
• Generate custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Monitor the performance of the live website using tools like Page Speed Insights.
• Collaborate with the development team to develop and maintain the website(s).
• Conduct WordPress training with the client when needed.
• Stay up to date on technology.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a WordPress developer using custom built themes.
• At least 4+ years of experience working as a WordPress Developer.
• Expert in CSS animations with a portfolio of production websites.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficient in front-end technologies including SASS, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5.
• Proficient in backend developments such as WordPress, PHP, MySQL.
• Experienced in GIT workflows and code versioning tools.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Ability to manage projects and work in a team.
• Willing to work in US Pacific time zone.
