Overview

As the Director of CRM Engineering at 2U, you will lead the strategy and operational excellence of our enterprise CRM platforms, focusing on Salesforce to enhance marketing, sales, service, and student success.

In Short

• Lead the evolution of the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Provide architectural oversight and technical direction.
• Manage and mentor a team of 12–20 engineers.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of CRM initiatives.

• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into CRM workflows.
• Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards.
• Manage vendor relationships for CRM-related services.
• Establish robust engineering practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Foster a strong engineering culture grounded in continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 12+ years in the IT field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• 3+ years in a delivery lead role with Salesforce.
• Experience in managing technical delivery teams.
• Salesforce Architect Certifications.
• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Change management experience with Git and Copado.
• Languages: Python, Java, JavaScript.
• Database knowledge: SQL, SOQL, T-SQL, GraphQL.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP.
