Overview

We are seeking a Sales Engineer with over 10 years of experience in Financial Services, ideally banking, for a contract role that emphasizes technical expertise and executive-level communication.

In Short

  • Act as the technical expert for the software vendor's sales team.
  • Field complex client questions regarding architecture and integration.
  • Build and deliver demos tailored to client use cases.
  • Translate technical capabilities into business outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with all organizational levels, especially C-suite.
  • Assist in planning implementation and liaise with delivery teams.
  • Engage post-sale to ensure value delivery.
  • Occasional travel to meet clients and represent the product.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Financial Services, banking preferred.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Highly articulate and confident in various settings.
  • Proven ability to engage and present at the executive level.
  • Exceptional ability to simplify complex information.
  • Strong technical foundation in software, SaaS/cloud, and integrations.
  • Detail-oriented and willing to ask questions.
  • Experience in pre-sales or customer-facing technical roles.
  • Must be based in North America, preferably South Atlantic region.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
