As AI becomes increasingly integrated into 1Password’s products, operations, and security posture, we’re building a Responsible AI program to ensure these capabilities are governed with care and foresight.

In Short

• Lead the Responsible AI initiative at 1Password.
• Set policy, governance structures, and frameworks for AI use.
• Collaborate across teams for ethical AI integration.
• Develop AI risk assessments and accountability tracking.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in Responsible AI.
• Support external engagement around trustworthy AI.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Drive internal training on Responsible AI practices.
• Contribute to the creation of external content on AI.
• Lead the development of AI governance frameworks.

Requirements

• 8+ years in technical or governance roles.
• Experience in AI governance, risk management, or compliance.
• Familiarity with AI risk domains like bias and transparency.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Knowledge of responsible AI frameworks.
• Fluency in AI/ML terminology and workflows.
• Experience developing AI governance frameworks is a plus.
• Understanding of AI for security and privacy use cases.
• Experience with AI tooling in enterprise settings is a plus.
• Exposure to privacy-enhancing technologies is a plus.
