As a Scientist, Applied Bioinformatics at 10x Genomics, you will innovate and empower customers to discover new biology, providing expert support and building an optimal customer experience.

In Short

• Serve as a customer-facing expert on 10x Genomics software and bioinformatics products.
• Manage the issue escalation process with top academic and corporate institutions.
• Represent customer feedback to internal teams as the “Voice of the Customer.”
• Develop and maintain software training material.
• Learn new tools and analysis strategies for 10x Genomics data.
• Participate in bioinformatics outreach and trade shows.
• Mentor new and junior team members.

Requirements

• 6 years of Bioinformatics experience.
• PhD in Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or similar discipline.
• Experience implementing and supporting bioinformatics software.
