Bioinformatics Scientist, Dx - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and capable bioinformatics scientist with experience and interest in translational cancer research and clinical genomics. This position requires experience with scientific programming, relational data systems, algorithms development, and statistical modeling.

In Short

• Contribute to designing diagnostic software systems for Tempus medical devices
• Interface with biopharma partners and develop plans for investigational diagnostic testing
• Manage companion diagnostic test design and development in concert with sponsors
• Prepare and coordinate software system technical design and requirements analysis
• Collaborate with scientists and clinicians to design diagnostic tests in a regulated environment
• Communicate with outside scientific teams as well as product and bioinformatics leadership
• Produce high quality and detailed documentation for all projects.

Requirements

• Ph.D./M.S. in quantitative scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Computational skills using Python, R, and/or Bioconductor.
