QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a QA Engineer, you will have good, technical QA and project expertise, and have full ownership of quality across designated game areas.

In Short

• Own the test strategy for medium complexity features.
• Deploy a variety of different test techniques.
• Execute tests against user stories and scripted test cases.
• Regularly report progress of user story testing.
• Log clear feature defects in Jira.
• Contribute to user story designs.
• Seek out relationships with developers.
• Actively own test areas and ensure defects are entered.
• Standard bearer for QA in team practices.
• Promote cross-discipline knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Good understanding of client/server testing.
• Familiarity with source control, such as GIT.
• Experience with development environments like Unity.
• Adept at costing, time estimation, and risk analysis.
• Experience with Agile and Kanban methodologies.
• Passion for gaming and a positive outlook.
• Typically requires 3-4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
