Senior Wireless Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Wireless Systems Engineer implements effective infrastructure solutions and will be responsible for planning, designing, as well as supporting deployment efforts for our clients for the delivery of project-based assignments including proof-of-concept, analysis, design/architecture, deployment and support.

In Short

• Perform wireless surveys using Ekahau Wireless Survey Software
• Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software technical problems related to wireless
• Experience using Spectrum Analyzer and analyzing collected RF data
• Participate in various client projects to improve wireless infrastructures
• Manage multiple wireless projects
• Knowledge of Cisco and Aruba wireless technologies
• Implementation of Cisco and Aruba wireless networking solutions
• Create technical design documents and implementation plans
• 1+ years’ experience in wireless survey and design
• 1+ years’ experience in designing and deploying wireless network solutions

Requirements

• Experience with wireless encryption and ciphers
• Understanding of wireless voice and data solutions
• Give technical direction to survey teams
• Author full site survey reports
• Monitor ongoing progress and recommend improvements
• Interact with customers IT teams daily
• Certifications such as CCNA Wireless, CCNP Wireless, CCIE Wireless, CWNE, ACMP, ACMX, ECSE are desired
