OPS Engineer - Tier I Intern - Remote

Overview

Trace3 is seeking a motivated and detailed-oriented Help Desk Intern to join our Operations Center Team. This internship provides hands-on experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and customer service.

In Short

• Maintains a “customer first” demeanor to ensure customer satisfaction
• Respond to and manage help desk tickets in a timely manner
• Assist with setting up and configuring workstations, peripherals, and software
• Troubleshoot basic connectivity issues and assist with user account management
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and IT procedures
• Support IT staff with projects, upgrades, and routine maintenance tasks
• Maintain security and confidentiality of IT systems and company data

Requirements

• Pursuing an associate’s degree or above in a scientific/technical or related discipline - or - equivalent experience preferred
• Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and other common business applications
• Strong desire to participate in continuing education in network engineering, cloud computing, data center engineering, security engineering, or cyber-security engineering
• Ability to work off hours, weekends, or night shift as required
