In Short

• Part-time position, 20 hours per month
• Experience with Family and Criminal Law required
• Conduct scripted intake fact-gathering interviews for potential new clients
• Gather and organize initial case documents
• Draft basic legal documents
• Assist with scheduling mediations and court hearings as needed
• Main point of contact for assigned client(s)
• Ensure timely execution of tasks and projects
• Maintain detailed client profiles
• Proactive communication with clients and supervisors

Requirements

• Experience as a paralegal
• Knowledge of Family and Criminal Law
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Proficient in drafting legal documents
• Availability during business hours
• Experience with client management tools
• Ability to respond to communications promptly
• Understanding of best practices in legal support
