Country Manager - Ukraine - Remote

Overview

Zinc Network seeks a Country Manager for Ukraine to manage and implement a donor-funded programme aimed at strengthening the capabilities of partner countries to counter Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI).

In Short

• Manage day-to-day implementation of capacity building interventions in Ukraine.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key government officials.
• Represent Zinc Network to government partners and donors.
• Facilitate communication between multiple government departments.
• Support development of training materials and capacity building approaches.
• Coordinate logistical requirements for programme activities.
• Monitor progress and resolve implementation challenges.
• Ensure compliance with Zinc Network’s processes and policies.
• Provide clear guidelines and deadlines to stakeholders.
• Maintain records of activities and outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience in project management, preferably in a governmental or NGO context.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in capacity building and training development.
• Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Knowledge of local governance and political landscape in Ukraine.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Ukrainian or Russian is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation processes.
• Commitment to safeguarding and security protocols.
