Grants and Procurement Manager - Remote

Overview

Zinc seeks a Grants and Procurement Manager for a forthcoming USAID-funded program that will strengthen information integrity and resilience across the Sahel by investing in key local actors such as fact checking organizations, investigative journalists and data scientists at the country and regional level.

In Short

• Administer and manage program subawards from pre-award through post award and closeout.
• Draft calls for proposals and conduct outreach to potential applicants.
• Conduct pre-award risk assessments and evaluate proposals.
• Review subaward financial reports and invoices.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with Zinc and USAID policies.
• Provide administration for centrally funded contracts and procurements.
• Train project staff on implementation of grants.
• Ensure grantees meet all compliance standards.
• Track and monitor subaward cost share.
• Maintain and update subaward budget trackers.

Requirements

• Experience in grant management and procurement.
• Knowledge of USAID policies and procedures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Experience in budget analysis and financial reporting.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
• Right to work in Senegal.
