Senior Node.js Developer - Remote

Zeely is an AI digital marketer that builds high-selling static & video creatives and launches online ads to help small businesses grow their sales. Now, we’re looking for a Senior Node.js Developer to join our team and help build a truly game-changing product.

In Short

• Developing and maintaining the back-end part of our web applications
• Designing and building REST APIs
• Working with PostgreSQL and Redis databases
• Integrating with third-party APIs
• Developing and deploying applications on AWS (EC2, S3, CloudFront)
• Writing unit and integration tests
• Optimizing application performance
• Debugging and fixing issues
• Writing technical documentation
• Conducting code reviews

Requirements

• 6+ years of commercial experience with Node.js
• 2+ years of experience with NestJS framework
• 2+ years working with microservice architecture
• Strong background in developing REST APIs and handling data streams
• 3+ years working with Redis and PostgreSQL: data modeling, indexing, caching, ORM (Prisma/TypeORM/Drizzle ORM)
• Experience with AWS (ECS/EKS, EC2, S3, SQS, CloudFront)
• 2+ years working with message brokers
• 2+ years working with payment systems
• 2+ years of experience with Docker
• Hands-on experience integrating third-party APIs
• Understanding of scalable and reliable system design principles
• Solid knowledge of Git and version control systems
• Ability to write clean, readable, and efficient code
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Team player with good communication skills
