Senior Node.js Developer - Remote

Overview

We're looking for a Senior Node.js Developer with 3+ years of experience to expand our client's team in Lviv! This is a full-time, on-site position for an experienced developer who will lead the development of high-quality backend services and microservices, ensuring their performance, scalability, and security.

In Short

• Develop and maintain high-quality backend services using Node.js.
• Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
• Proficiency with Express.js, NestJS, or TSOA frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and web security best practices.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.
• Strong communication skills in English (must-have).
