Senior Security Engineer - GTM Partnership - Remote

In Short

• Build expertise in Zapier’s internal security practices and governance features.
• Act as a strategic security advisor to sales and customer success teams.
• Lead rapid response to technical risk mitigation during deal cycles.
• Represent the company’s security posture in customer-facing briefings.
• Consult on security-related issues and translate customer requirements.
• Partner with GTM teams to analyze customer security questionnaires.
• Develop and maintain sales enablement content related to security.
• Collaborate with product marketing on security messaging.

Requirements

• 7+ years in technical security roles.
• Deep understanding of encryption, IAM, network security, and cloud architectures.
• Understanding risks and mitigations for LLMs and GenAI applications.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR.
• Experience using LLM and GenAI tools for role-relevant improvements.
• Experience partnering with internal engineering and product teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience working with customers in security-sensitive contexts.
• Ability to create customer-facing content.
• Experience engaging with customers in security-sensitive deals.
