Overview

The Business System Analyst, HRIS Data plays a pivotal role in advancing the mission of the YMCA by leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence in Human Resources. This role is responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and optimizing HRIS data across local associations, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the successful implementation and continuous improvement of the UKG Pro system. The Business Analyst partners with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights, streamline processes, and enhance the overall employee experience through data-driven solutions.

• Collaborate with Implementation team for data migration and validation during HRIS implementations.
• Identify data trends and opportunities for process improvement.
• Design and deliver reports to support HR strategy and operational needs.
• Manage data updates to ensure timely payroll processing.
• Conduct root cause analysis for HRIS issues.
• Develop training materials to promote system adoption.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of HR data.
• Support audits and compliance reporting.
• Evaluate system performance and recommend enhancements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HRIS or data analysis.
• Proficiency in data auditing, data mining, and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in training users on HRIS platforms.
• YMCA Team Leader certification preferred.
