Overview

Parsons is looking for a talented Structural Engineer with specialized experience in aviation projects, particularly within airport environments, to manage design and implementation for various airport facilities and infrastructure.

In Short

• Design and analyze structural systems for airport terminals and related facilities.
• Oversee design consulting teams and develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Conduct structural assessments and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage design consultants.
• Develop project specifications and construction documents.
• Perform structural calculations and analyses using software tools.
• Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Provide technical support during construction.
• Familiarity with airport safety and security standards is desirable.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering focused on aviation projects.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and relevant codes and standards.
• Experience with BIM software is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Project Management experience.
