Structural Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Structural Engineer will act as a subject matter expert within Victaulic's Piping Movement Design Engineering group, responsible for providing structural calculations and designing structural products to support piping system solutions.

In Short

• Review customer system requirements and offer Victaulic product solutions.
• Provide structural calculations.
• Design pipe support products.
• Identify and develop new products.
• Visit field installations to assist customers.
• Support sales organization with technical seminars.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 5-10 years structural engineering experience.
• PE License required; S.E. License preferred.
• Project Management experience in building construction is a plus.
• Experience with structural product design preferred.
• Strong skills with drafting and structural analysis software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel 5-10%.
