Senior Estimator - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Estimator to join our team! In this role you will complete a wide variety of estimating activities on a major project.

In Short

• Prepares material takeoffs on complex projects, drawings, and plans.
• Reviews takeoffs provided by the Engineering Department for accuracy.
• Prepares detailed breakdown of components of estimates for systems and subsystems.
• Reviews contractual documents to determine scope of work.
• Prepares task and subtask estimates, including cost determination.
• Assigns material and staffing costs to the takeoffs.
• Obtains quotes for materials and services.
• Documents historical cost data to maintain estimating standards.
• Provides training and guidance to personnel in cost estimates preparation.
• Participates in client presentations as required.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree and 10 years of related work experience.
