Principal Project Manager - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Project Manager to join our team! In this role, you will provide direction and project management for median and large-size projects, responsible for planning, programming, coordination, scope management, and overall implementation to meet project goals and objectives.

In Short

• Act as Principal Project Manager for overall coordination and management of assigned projects.
• Interface with stakeholders to define technical design basis and development implementation plan.
• Oversee establishment of Project Management Plan and other necessary documents.
• Assign responsibilities to team members based on their qualifications and strengths.
• Monitor project progress and report to management on milestones and conditions affecting cost or schedule.
• Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and public meetings.
• Promote technical and commercial excellence through Quality Assurance processes.
• Conduct weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items.
• Ensure project meets or exceeds established goals.
• Perform other responsibilities as appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Management, with at least 5 years managing major capital projects.
• Experience in engineering, budgeting, planning, procurement, contracting, and scheduling.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership in large-scale programs.
• Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Professional Registration (PE or PMP) is a significant advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
• Ability to perform major activities in the job description.
• Proven ability to perform within a management capacity.
• Knowledge of current technology and its effective utilization on projects.
