Land Surveyor - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Land Surveyor to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role, you will perform land/field surveys, geodetic calculations, and structural inspections while ensuring adherence to project requirements and safety protocols.

In Short

• Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations.
• Interface with clients and contractors for project survey requirements.
• Complete surveying tasks on schedule and within budget.
• Check setting-out, levels, and service locations.
• Prepare sketches to support fieldwork.
• Maintain survey information including field books and calculations.
• Observe site safety procedures.
• Assist in preparing 'as-built' drawings.
• Participate in health and safety issues at the site.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• BSc degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure and dry utilities projects.
• Knowledge of CAD software and survey software.
• Experience with total stations, data collectors, and GPS equipment.
• Working knowledge of construction sequences and industry procedures.
• Previous experience working with MCC is preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
