Land Surveyor - Remote

Overview

The Land Surveyor will be responsible for performing land/field surveys and geodetic calculations, interfacing with clients and contractors, and ensuring the completion of surveying requirements within budget and schedule.

• Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations.
• Interface with clients and contractors to verify project survey requirements.
• Complete surveying requirements on schedule and within budget.
• Check setting-out and levels, and services locations.
• Prepare sketches to support fieldwork.
• Maintain survey information, including field books and calculations.
• Measure work done when required.
• Observe site safety procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of ‘as-built’ drawings.
• Participate in health and safety issues at the site.

Requirements

• At least 3 Years Diploma/Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying.
• Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in road works and infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of CAD software and survey software, total station, and GPS equipment.
• Working knowledge of construction sequences and procedures.
• Must have Dubai Municipality Survey Approval.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
