Finance Lead - Federal Environmental - Remote

Overview

The Finance Lead - Federal Environmental will support all financial planning, analysis, and performance management for the Federal Environmental portfolio within the Security & Sustainment sector at Parsons.

In Short

• Serve as the primary Finance partner to the VP/Market Lead.
• Lead development and consolidation of the annual budget and forecasts.
• Monitor and report on revenue, margin, and cash performance.
• Provide financial analysis for bids and proposals.
• Ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies and financial controls.
• Act as the primary Finance contact for Project Controls.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Prepare and present financial insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with Project Controls teams.
• Support investment decisions with financial analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Finance or Project Finance.
• Strong understanding of project-based businesses.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, CFA, or similar) is desired.
• Experience in environmental markets is a plus.
• Strong ethics and attention to detail.
• Experience in large engineering or government contracting organizations is preferred.
