Overview

The Environmental Services Lead is responsible for leading department activities to ensure all hospital areas are safe, orderly, and sanitary. This role involves cleaning and disinfecting various hospital spaces while adhering to infection prevention standards.

Requirements

• Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma in Environmental Sciences required.
• 3-5 years of experience in hospital cleaning and equipment.
• Knowledge of health and sanitation standards.
• Ability to operate heavy cleaning machines.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License preferred.
• Pest Control Technician license preferred.
• Physical stamina for lifting and carrying.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaners and chemicals.
