Overview

Parsons is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team, where you will learn and grow in the electrical field while working on various installations, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

In Short

• Join a team as an Apprentice Electrician.
• Conduct installations, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Repair and replace wiring as needed.
• Read blueprints and schematics for projects.
• Manage and mentor other apprentice electricians.
• Inspect and test electrical systems including fuses and circuit breakers.
• Work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and clients.
• Travel 100% to job locations.
• Participate in trench work and running pipe.
• Receive training in safety and energy-efficient equipment.

Requirements

• Must be willing to join the apprenticeship program.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation is necessary.
• Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code and local building codes is preferred.
• OSHA safety training is a plus but not required.
