Site Electrician - Remote

Overview

As a Site Electrician at Fugro, you will work offshore on various vessels and drilling rigs, ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of electrical systems to support operational efficiency.

In Short

• Work offshore on vessels and drilling rigs.
• Assist with installation and mobilization of offshore equipment.
• Maintain and repair electrical equipment.
• Work closely with engineers and vessel crew.
• Complete maintenance schedules and reports.
• Implement improvements and mobilize new equipment.
• Conduct fault finding and repairs on electrical systems.
• Assist in deck/drilling operations as required.
• Follow compliant regulations for installations.

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician with industrial or marine experience.
• Approved electrical apprenticeship.
• NVQ level 3 in electrical engineering.
• City & Guilds level 3 in electrotechnical studies.
• 18th Edition certification.
• Full clean UK driving license.
• Experience with 3 phase systems and motors/generators.
• Experience in maintenance activities on electrical equipment.
• C&G 2391 desirable.
