Overview

The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the insurance claim pipeline, ensuring economic efficiency and compliance in the healthcare setting.

In Short

  • Manage claims from submission to finalization.
  • In-office work 3 days a week, remote 2 days a week.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and ensure timely reimbursement.
  • Identify trends and perform tactical planning.
  • Collaborate with EHR support for issue resolution.
  • Enhance operational efficiency through effective management.
  • Supervise direct reports and manage team assignments.
  • Implement and train on procedures and policies.
  • Maintain the chargemaster and payer fee schedules.
  • Review claim escalations as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related field.
  • Significant experience in staff and project management.
  • 2 years of revenue cycle management experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare billing and coding.
  • Professional certifications such as CPC or CPB may be advantageous.
