Recovery Counselor (LCSW) - Remote

Overview

As a Recovery Counselor at Workit Health you will be responsible for providing clinical intervention to members with Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and mental health disorders. Primary focus is on team-based treatment, namely co-facilitation of shared follow-up appointments. Recovery Counselors are full-time employees who work remotely and can provide all services via telehealth platforms.

In Short

• Co-facilitate virtual multidisciplinary groups on SUD-related topics.
• Utilize Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques.
• Provide evidence-based SUD services through various group formats.
• Prepare documentation in accordance with standards.
• Complete evaluations for program enrollment.
• Diagnose and treat adults and adolescents.
• Manage crisis intervention remotely.
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in clinical practice.
• Oversee clinic treatment plans and member treatment plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards.

Requirements

• Master's degree (Required).
• Independent clinical state licensure (LCSW or LMFT Required).
• Fluency in CBT and Motivational Interviewing skills.
• At least one year of experience in SUD services.
• Capability for managing crisis intervention remotely.
• Experience in facilitating therapeutic groups.
• Ability to work independently online with digital tools.
• Professionalism, punctuality, flexibility, and reliability.
• Enthusiasm for addressing addiction treatment.
