Recovery Counselor (CASAC Master Counselor & LCSW / LMFT) - Remote

Overview

As a Recovery Counselor at Workit Health you will be responsible for providing clinical intervention to members with Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and mental health disorders. Primary focus is on team-based treatment, namely co-facilitation of shared follow up appointments. Recovery Counselors are full-time employees that work remotely and can provide all services via telehealth platforms.

In Short

• Co-facilitate virtual multidisciplinary groups on SUD-related topics.
• Utilize Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques.
• Provide evidence-based SUD services through various group formats.
• Prepare documentation in accordance with organizational standards.
• Seek opportunities for learning and growth.
• Complete diagnostic evaluations.
• Diagnose and treat adults and adolescents.
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in clinical practices.
• Participate in meetings and clinical audits.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA.

Requirements

• Active as a CASAC Master Counselor.
• Independent clinical New York state licensure required (LCSW or LMFT).
• Master's degree required.
• Fluency in CBT and Motivational Interviewing skills.
• At least one year of experience providing SUD services.
• Capable of managing crisis intervention remotely.
• Experience facilitating groups using therapeutic interventions.
• Ability to work independently online and familiarity with digital tools.
• Professionalism, punctuality, and flexibility required.
• Enthusiasm for revolutionizing addiction treatment is necessary.
