Senior Python Backend Developer - Scraping and Data Extraction Automation Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in scraping to join the Data Science team of a leading technology company focused on modern logistics commerce.

In Short

• Develop robust scrapers for various portals and dynamic data sources.
• Optimize scraping processes using evasion techniques (user-agent rotation, captchas, proxies, etc.).
• Participate in the construction of data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD flows.
• Deploy solutions in the cloud (AWS, GCP, or similar).
• Document code clearly and structurally.
• Collaborate with other technical profiles in the data team.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of proven experience developing backend with Python, including structures, asynchronous programming, concurrency, and small-scale distributed processing.
• Over 3 years of experience developing complex scrapers, ideally with experience in massive automation, evasion of blocks, and maintenance of multiple sources.
• Practical experience developing scrapers using Playwright, Selenium, Scrapy, Requests, or similar libraries.
• Knowledge in evasion techniques: proxy rotation, captchas, user-agents.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience in cloud deployment: ideally AWS or GCP.
• Good command of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Knowledge of data structures and good documentation practices.
• Innovative mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Potential for leadership.
