Senior Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Automation Engineer (SAE) to support on a key project within our Systems Integration (SI) team in our Digital Consulting business.

In Short

• The role involves identifying Automation and Controls requirements and defining solutions.
• Expected knowledge in Automation Technical Areas, preferably Allen Bradley ControlLogix.
• Key interface between software engineers and lead engineer.
• Involvement in brownfield upgrades and replacements.
• Responsible for accurate progress tracking and reporting.

Requirements

• Experience in automation and control projects.
• Ability to develop programs from the ground up.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of cyber security and network design.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems.
• Ability to pass HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.
