Overview

The Group Manager - Actuarial Modeling will lead the development and delivery of the Moody’s AXIS model for a major Variable Annuity product, ensuring quality and efficiency in model changes while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

• Primary Model Developer for Moody’s AXIS model.
• Lead quarterly model changes including assumption updates and new business setups.
• Perform independent testing and impact quantification.

• Support Testing, Valuation, and Risk Management teams.
• Drive process and analytical improvements.
• Excellent coding skills in GGY AXIS modeling software.
• Knowledge of hedging and asset liability modeling is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Math, Stats, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8-10 years of experience in US life insurance.
• 4-6 years of life/Annuity actuarial modeling experience in Moody’s AXIS.
• 8-10 actuarial papers completed.
• Strong knowledge of US Life insurance and Variable Annuity products.
• Excellent technical knowledge of US STAT/GAAP regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
