Overview

The Surgical Technologist at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is responsible for providing intraoperative care to surgical patients, assisting surgeons and nurses during various surgical procedures, and ensuring a safe and smooth operation in the operating room.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• Experience as a Surgical Technologist or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations.
• Understanding of infection control protocols.
