Overview

The Service Line Resource Technician 1 at Mass General Brigham is responsible for performing sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment, adhering to established infection control standards and regulatory requirements.

In Short

• Processes specialty and general instruments.
• Resets instrument sets without error.
• Decontaminates instruments and equipment according to procedure.
• Maintains Central Sterile Department stock levels.
• Prepares and assembles surgical trays and equipment.
• Communicates instrument repair needs to supervisor.
• Works night shifts from 10p-6:30a or 11p-7a.
• Requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of case cart assembly and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician preferred.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of case cart assembly.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards of materials management.
• Ability to conduct tests and inspections of products.
