Overview

The Security Officer provides a safe and secure environment for hospital patients, visitors, and employees by enforcing hospital security regulations and continuously monitoring for potential safety hazards.

• Enforce hospital security regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in security, police, or customer service preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to deescalate situations and manage aggression.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong writing skills for documentation.
• Understanding of community policing and crime prevention.
• Valid Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License.
