Security Officer - Remote

Overview

The Security Officer is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all hospital patients, visitors, and employees by enforcing security regulations and monitoring for safety hazards.

In Short

• Full-time position with a schedule of 40 hours per week, nights.
• Provides protective services for patients, visitors, and staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; higher education in criminal justice preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in security or related fields preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift patients and withstand adverse weather conditions.
• Must pass an annual criminal background check.
• Training in de-escalation and defensive tactics required.
• Must obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of security technology and systems.
• Must maintain all required training and certifications.
